Carolina Digital Humanities is directed through the Digital Innovation Lab.
Directing the Digital Innovation Lab links me with an amazing range of research projects. The many graduate students supported by the lab regularly share their knowledge and learn new methods, including many brought into their digital dissertations.
The Digital Advancement Badging program furthers innovation and provides recognition. Students work toward outcomes in project management, digital pedagogy, and humanities data studies. As they practice in these areas, they earn credentials.
The lab also pursues research in media composing, digital pedagogy, and data literacy. Our 360 video projects re-imagine tutorials and teaching in immersive environments. Teaching and Research with social media engages literacy, ethics, and human aspects of data.
